Joshua is an investment executive with a diverse career spanning real estate, finance, and private equity across the United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States. At Charco Holdings, he drives strategic investments in corporate and financial services businesses, focusing on building sustainable, long-term income streams.
Most recently, Joshua setup and led the institutional markets team for a London-based boutique real estate lender. Joshua also previously spent six years at Investec Bank, where he originated transactions in excess of £500m in the structured property finance division. There, he worked with family offices, corporate, and institutional clients to arrange senior development and investment loans across residential, industrial, commercial, and retail asset classes. He gained extensive experience in structuring complex transactions and larger loans as club deals with third-party funders.
Prior to Investec, Joshua earned an MS in Real Estate Development at New York University, and worked at Ackman Ziff Real Estate Group in New York City, specialising in capital stack design and sourcing for real estate investors across the U.S.
Joshua also brings expertise in private equity and venture capital, with a personal portfolio spanning biotech, alternative energy, med-tech, and AI. At Charco, he combines global experience with deep industry knowledge.
